We all started as ''Friends''

In this illustration, we can relate the different Form of Sentences. Here’s the story.

There was a girl named Violet. She believes that she can stand every problem that comes to her life on her own. But, one day Violet had a problem. She realized that she needed someone to lean on. She met Pink. Pink and Violet have the same characteristics. They are both independent. At first, they don’t believe that they need someone to be with them.  They became best of friends. One day, Violet realized that she needed someone different from her characteristics. Somehow a person that needs her for that person to be complete. Violet met Blue. Blue is a guy that needed someone to lean on. The same guy Violet wanted to be friends with. So Violet and Blue became friends. Pink, Violet and Blue always hang-out together. 

This means, Violet and Pink is an independent clause and Blue is a dependent clause. When Violet was still alone, she represents a simple sentence. A simple sentence consist of a subject and predicate. The subject and predicate of this sentence can be compound. When Violet and Pink was already together, they represents a compound sentence. When two independent clauses are together in a sentence and it was joined by coordinating conjunction or comma or semi-colon, this represents a compound sentence. When Violet and Blue was together, this represents a complex sentence. When an independent clause and a dependent clause are joined by coordinating conjunction or comma or semi-colon, this represents a complex sentence. When Pink, Violet, and Blue are together, this represents a compound-complex sentence. When a dependent clause and 2 or more independent clause are joined in a sentence, this represents a compound-complex sentence.
